Role: Game Writer & Narrative Designer

Step into the elegant heels of Vivian Wylde, witch, socialite and host in period drama sim Wylde Society! Build, run and customise your magical boarding house in turn of the century Fairhaven. Host splendid events, expand your witchcraft, and influence the town. Who will you invite for tea?

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
I’ve had the incredible opportunity to contribute to nearly every facet of this game’s development. From helping shape the critical path and writing story and dialogue, to creating a diverse cast of characters and collaborating on the game’s lore, I’ve been deeply involved in the narrative vision from early concept through to currently ongoing development. 

So far, I’ve:

  • Helped design the game’s critical path, core narrative structure, and (internal & external) lore.
  • Ideated & pitched over 30 unique character proposals. 
  • Written story content, character dialogue in collaboration with the rest of the narrative design team.
  • Worked closely with the concept artist and 3D artists on the visual designs of the game’s characters.
  • Established the vocal identity of many of the game’s characters by creating voice development breakdowns, casting sides, weighing in on casting decisions, and acting as a narrative consultant during performance captures. 
  • Advocated for new narrative features and collaborated across departments to implement them.
